1. Who and what
These terms cover your use of TrameWeaver (app.trameweaver.com) and the TrameWeaver website, operated from Australia by Gaëtan Selle trading as TrameWeaver (ABN 36 440 385 792). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.
2. Private beta
TrameWeaver is in private beta. That means, in plain terms:
- features may change, break, or be removed;
- bugs will happen;
- the service may occasionally be unavailable;
- beta access is invitation-based and may be adjusted or ended as the beta evolves.
The app is local-first and has built-in export — please keep your own exports (JSON or PDF) of work you can't afford to lose. Cloud backup exists to help protect your work, but during a beta it is not a guarantee against every possible loss.
3. Free during the beta
TrameWeaver is currently free during the private beta. If paid plans are introduced later, existing beta users will be told in advance — and whatever happens, export stays available, so your work is never held hostage by a pricing change.
4. Your account
Sign-in uses email magic links — keep access to your email account secure, and only open sign-in links you requested. Beta access is personal; please don't share your sign-in links.
5. Your writing stays yours
You keep all rights to everything you create in TrameWeaver. We claim no ownership of your projects.
To operate the cloud features you choose to use, you give us permission to store, back up, and transmit your project data — solely to provide the service to you, and nothing else. We don't sell your writing, we don't publish it, and we don't use it to train AI models (see the Privacy Policy).
6. TrameWeaver itself is ours
TrameWeaver — the software, design, and branding — is owned by Gaëtan Selle trading as TrameWeaver and protected by intellectual-property law. These terms don't grant you any rights to it beyond what's needed to use the app. (Your writing is the opposite — see section 5.)
7. Acceptable use
Don't use TrameWeaver to break the law, attack or overload the service, probe other users' data, or resell access. That's it.
8. The service is provided "as is"
To the extent permitted by law, TrameWeaver is provided without warranties, and we're not liable for indirect losses — including lost data during the beta, which is why exports exist and are encouraged.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with TrameWeaver is limited to the total amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantees or rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can't be excluded by agreement.
9. If your use causes a claim against us
If your use of TrameWeaver breaches these terms or the law — for example, uploading content that infringes someone else's copyright — and that leads to a third-party claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and losses we incur as a result.
10. Ending things
You can stop using TrameWeaver at any time; email us if you want your account and cloud data deleted. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms, and may wind down or reset aspects of the beta with reasonable notice where practical.
11. Changes
We may update these terms during the beta; the date above will change and significant updates will be flagged to beta users.
12. If our business structure changes
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to a successor entity — for example, if TrameWeaver's operation moves from a sole trader to a company — provided your rights under these terms aren't reduced. We'll let you know if that happens.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
